This Just In: Tantalizing Two-day Temperature Treat Triggers Tiny House Toil...
Whhheeeewww. Things are beginning to look like the polar vortex is losing its oomph. Our long hibernation is almost behind us. The two days mentioned in the post title were yesterday and today, both having highs in the low 70s! Kyle and I are meeting tomorrow to do our next construction planning, since snow (!) is predicted for tomorrow and little will be accomplished outside. I will have some pictures of the updates to the TTH (Tumbleweed Tiny House) after that. Though I have been imagining a delightful, balmy (if muddy) scene of activity over at the farm for the past two days, with the tarp flung off and the sunshine and breezes putting a little life into the 2 x 4s, the ladders, and, of course, the carpenter.
So, since I have no pictures of recent progress, I will post this photo of a snow sculpture I made during one of the many beautiful, quiet, snowy moments of this most snowy winter.
And this of the wintry windowpane in my living room, during one of the frigid stretches of days we all survived. I started feeding the birds outside on my back steps before Christmas, and really tried to take them under my wing (so to speak) through the rest of the cold season. You will undoubtedly see a few sparrows, cardinals, starlings, mourning doves and juncos in upcoming posts; I have many photos, and even a few videos, which are like a visual musical score to the winter mornings.
Now I am off to gather my dusty pile of notes, and drawings, and lists and plans, to prepare for our meeting tomorrow morning. Feels good.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I think this message is for anyone who comments, to let you know, in my case, that there is no knowing when, if, or how I may respond directly to your message!! To quote a famous wizard; "I can't come back! I don't know how it works!" And a famous poet, "We walk backwards into the future." Anyway, I have a feeling this thing is going to grow on me, so we'll be in touch, eventually. Thank you again.
